Melissa Scheppele currently leads Triumph Group, Inc., the international supplier of aerospace components and systems. She is leading the information technology team through the company’s transformation from multiple operating entities, to “One Triumph”, consolidating to 4 operating business units, capturing economies of scale and leveraging best practice, creating a world class organization ready for the challenges presented by the evolving digital world.

Prior to joining Triumph Group, she led the team at Ascend Performance Materials, the premium supplier of high quality chemicals, fibers and plastics in making the transition from a low cost, commodity provider, to high value add, specialty chemicals company.

Ms. Scheppele also led Global Industrial Manufacturer Cooper Industries as Its CIO, VP of Enterprise Business systems since Aug 2006, implementing a world class ERP organization, supporting its $5+ billion global business, serving more than 30 countries.

Additionally she has created a team capable of integrating numerous acquisitions completed annually while designing and implementing world class strategic tools as SAP Business Intelligence, CRM to enable business growth and expansion.

Prior to joining Cooper, Ms. Scheppele was the Vice President of Shared Services for Tyson foods, responsible for completing the integration of the IBP acquisition and completing the global blueprint for its SAP ERP implementation.

Previous to this, she held various positions with Nestlé Foods, as the Director of M&A, Director of Petfood integration, leading the integrations of such acquisitions Ralston Purina and Alpo Petfoods, starting her career in Retail with Carter Hawley Hale Stores.
