DESCRIPTION:Women in Tech welcomes you to participate in a panel discussion about the current state and use of data analytics and future trends.  We will have three local Philadelphia leaders presenting relevant material involving data analytics.  The discussion will utilize audience polling and open Q&A session to drive the conversation. \nModerator \nBonnie Oswald\, CIO – American Driveline \nBonnie is a results oriented executive with over 19 years of experience in creating vision\, driving adoption and execution of game-changing technology initiatives. Those initiatives span from large back-end innovation programs to client facing transformations. Those programs leveraged enabling technologies in the Cloud\, Big\, Data Management\, In-Memory Computing\, ERP\, and Digital/Mobile space. \nSpeakers:  \nKay Labare\, Head of Scientific and Academic Research\, Intellectual Property and Standards and Content Technology – Clarivate Analytics \nKay Labare is the Head of Scientific and Academic Research\, Intellectual Property and Standards and Content Technology for Clarivate Analytics since April 2017. Prior to this\, she was Head of AML and Fraud Technology for US Bank.  She has extensive experience leading risk and compliance technology and service. She joined US Bank in August 2013 in the acquisition of Syncada\, a trade finance payment joint venture with VISA and US Bank.  Prior to that\, she worked at NICE Actimize\, where she served as Head of Business Technology after it was acquired from Fortent/Seachspace\, where she was CTO. Kay led AML development and design at both Actimize and Fortent\, and she also headed global customer support for both companies. Previously\, she was CTO for Thomson Financial Investment Banking and Capital Markets and CTO of Thomson Healthcare. Labare earned an M.S. from Hood College and received her B.S. from the University of Maryland. \n  \nDaniel Wright\, Faculty Director\, Center for Business Analytics – Villanova School of Business \nDaniel Wright\, PhD\, serves as Faculty Director of the Center for Business Analytics (CBA) at the Villanova School of Business (VSB). He has been on the VSB faculty for 13 years and has specialized in the area of analytics. He has led curricular innovation in the business analytics space by helping to develop new programs at the undergraduate and master’s levels. \nDr. Wright has previously served as an administrator for VSB in the roles of Vice Dean\, Interim Dean\, and Department Chair.  He teaches Introduction to Business Analytics\, Strategic Data Mining\, and Operations and Supply Chain Management. He has been awarded the William G. Panschar Teaching Excellence Award at Indiana University. Dr. Wright’s research interests focus on service operations management\, retail/e-tail supply chains and healthcare operations.  He has consulted for Fortune 500 companies in the healthcare and energy sectors.  Dr. Wright has been recognized as the VSB Emerging Scholar in Operations and Analytics and has been awarded the Villanova School of Business Summer Research Award. \n  \nHowie Spangler\, VP of Information Technology – ARI \nHowie Spangler is the Vice President of Information Technology at ARI. He is responsible for leading the teams tasked with the architecture\, development and implementation of business systems and information management strategies within the organization.  He joined ARI in 2012 as the Director of Development and was promoted to his current position in 2014.  Howie has 20 years of experience in Information Technology leading diverse multinational teams.  Prior to joining ARI he held several positions with TD Bank\, including Senior Vice President – Director of Enterprise Systems and Architecture.
